Good Day Pharmacy, a chain of 10 pharmacies in Colorado, has launched a drug disposal program for consumers. They can take their unused or unwanted drugs back to their pharmacies, rather than throw them in their toilet, sink, or garbage, which hurts the environment. That waste then goes to a reverse distributor and is incinerated. This service is free to consumers. The family-owned chain believes this program is a good way to market its pharmacies and protect the environment.
