Liposhifting' and fat transfer techniques correct post-contouring imperfections

In the correction of liposuction imperfections, one doctor suggests that a procedure called liposhifting can offer advantages over the common approach of fat transfer, or lipofilling. With the use of tiny incisions and a cannula, fat can be repositioned without being damaged in the process of removal from the body and exposed to the air, says Ziya Saylan, M.D., who developed the procedure.
