Risk factor screening can obviate post-LASIK ectasia

R. Doyle Stulting ,  Cheryl Guttman

Atlanta-Avoiding LASIK in eyes with forme fruste keratoconus, low predicted stromal bed thickness, low preoperative corneal pachymetry, and high myopia can help prevent ectasia. Doyle Stulting, MD, professor of ophthalmology and director, Emory Vision Correction Center, Emory University, Atlanta.
