Before taking office, the Obama administration invited ordinary Americans to get together in their dens and living rooms to discuss how they would like to see health care reformed. ModernMedicine.com wanted to make sure the voice of the health care professional was heard in the debate. So it organized a roundtable at the Cleveland Clinic. Hospital administrators, family practitioners, public health officials, professors and others engaged in a freewheeling two-hour discussion that touched on everything from the future of primary care to managed care to what steps the Obama administration should take. The talk is frank and the opinions are strongly held. ModernMedicine.com has divided the discussion into six videos. The first is a highlight of the roundtable, followed by five shorter videos grouped by topic. ModernMedicine intends to be the voice of the medical professional in the debate on health care reform. Watch the videos, post your comments and check back for more.
