This three-part, six-video program is designed to improve the diagnosis, management and treatment of patients suffering with chronic pain syndromes, with a focus on fibromyalgia, low back pain, and osteoarthritis. After completing the series, participants should be able to describe both causes and factors that affect these syndromes.
-- Specifically, participants will be able to identify pertinent questions and examination techniques used to diagnose fibromyalgia as well as gain an understanding of suitable therapies.
-- Furthermore, they will learn about the balance regarding treatment and risk management considerations for patients with chronic low back pain on opioid therapy.
-- Lastly, patients will be able to identify the important questions, studies, and risk factors in identifying osteoarthritis as well as recognize suitable treatment modalities for patients with osteoarthritis.
